The Pre-Toddler Room
12 – 24 months
The Pre-Toddler Program gives young walkers a nurturing, at-their-own-pace environment to build independence and confidence. Children keep the same primary caregiver as they grow, so trust and attachment can build over time.
The room
Pre-Toddler rooms are set up with child-sized furniture and real, hands-on materials your child can reach and use independently. Every room has a sink for handwashing after diaper changes, kept clean throughout the day.
How we learn
- Responsive, observation-led care that adapts to your child's own pace.
- The same primary caregiver over time, for a steady, trusting relationship.
- At least 1.5 hours outdoors every day, exploring the garden, sand and water tables.
- Because ages that differ by 18 months or more get their own play area within the room, your child always has safe, age-appropriate space to move.
